Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Catalina Within (“I”, “me”, “my”) collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you visit this website, contact me, or work with me. It includes disclosures for residents of California under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CCPA/CPRA”).

01

Who I am

Catalina Within is a solo wellness practice offering nutritional therapy, energy and nervous-system work, and holistic skincare, serving clients online and in person. You can reach me at hello@catalinawithin.com or +1 929 222 6505.
02

Information I collect

Contact and booking information you provide — name, email, phone, and country.
Health and wellness information you choose to share during enquiries, intake, and sessions — such as dietary habits, symptoms, lifestyle, skin concerns, or goals. Under California law this is “sensitive personal information.”
Correspondence you send me.
Usage data — basic analytics about how the site is used, collected through cookies or similar technologies.
03

How I use your information

To respond to your enquiries, deliver and tailor the services you book, take payment, keep records, and maintain and improve this website. I use your information only for these business purposes.
04

Health information and HIPAA

Please note that as a wellness practitioner — not a licensed medical provider, and not billing health insurance electronically — I am generally not a “covered entity” under HIPAA, so the information you share is not protected health information under that law. Instead, I protect your health and wellness information under my own confidentiality practices: I keep it confidential, store it securely, use it only to support your care, and never sell it.
05

How I share information — no sale or sharing

I do not sell or “share” your personal information (including for cross-context behavioral advertising), and I have not done so in the past 12 months. I disclose information only to service providers who help me run my practice (such as email, scheduling, and secure payment providers), for those business purposes only, and where the law requires it.
06

Your California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to: know and access the personal information I have collected; request that I delete it; request that I correct inaccurate information; opt out of the sale or sharing of your information (I do not sell or share it); limit the use of your sensitive personal information to what is necessary to provide your services; and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. To exercise any right, email hello@catalinawithin.com and I will verify and respond as the law requires.
07

Other U.S. states

If you live in another U.S. state with a consumer privacy law, you may have similar rights to access, correct, or delete your information. Please contact me and I will honor rights that apply to you.
08

Data retention and security

I keep your information only as long as needed to provide services and to meet legal, tax, and record-keeping obligations, and I take reasonable measures to keep it secure. This policy is reviewed and updated at least once every 12 months.
09

Cookies and analytics

This site uses essential cookies and may use basic analytics to understand traffic and improve your experience. You can disable cookies through your browser settings, and I will honor recognized opt-out preference signals where required.
